Karen is a creative and agile organizational consultant with proven results developing and leading world-class organizational effectiveness and talent development programs and operations domestically and globally in complex, multi-functional, highly-matrixed environments. During her extensive career, Karen has managed diverse, global teams with a record of applying strategic thinking, innovation and problem solving to address business challenges. Her areas of expertise include: Organizational Culture Change, Transformational Change Management, Strategic Planning and Execution, Employee Engagement, Diversity and Inclusion, Leadership Development, Succession Planning, Organizational Development, Employer Branding, Executive Coaching and pre/post M&A integration and organizational design.

Her mix of consulting background, coupled with internal executive positions, makes her uniquely qualified to identify challenges, develop solutions and successfully navigate through complex organizational structures to drive sustainable organizational change. Prior to her executive roles as VP Global Human Resources for DMC Global and Senior Director, Global Organizational Effectiveness and Talent Development at Level 3 Communications, Karen worked for leading global management consulting organizations Deloitte & Touche and Accenture, as well as smaller boutique consultancies, giving her exposure to the challenges in many industries including high-tech, healthcare, utilities, non-profit and government. So, Karen has sat on both sides of the consulting table.

She has helped numerous organizations improve their effectiveness, leadership strengths and human resource capabilities to achieve objectives that result in huge bottom line savings, top line growth, enhanced innovation and improved employee engagement.

Karen earned a BA in Psychology from Wellesley College and holds a Master of Business Administration in Organizational Behavior and Operations Management from Boston University. Karen is a Senior Professional in HR (SPHR) a CTA Executive Coach and is certified to administer Success Insights (DISC), The 5 Dysfunctions of a Team and The Leadership Circle 360, Leadership Culture and Promise of Leadership programs.
