Jan Newton

Jan has over 30 years of experience engaging both large and small groups to move quickly towards change and get excited about their progress. She is a master facilitator helping others create vision, strategy, process redesign, and plans so that excellent ideas are embraced and can be implemented. The work isn’t easy and requires experience, flexibility, and tenacity to facilitate decisions among people with seemingly competing interests and agendas.One client described her well, “Jan helps people get their thoughts out into the open so that new ideas can emerge and does this with speed, focus, a spark of mischief and fun.”

In addition to group/team facilitation, Jan has authored many workshops; Making Projects Work – The Human Side of Project Management, Consulting Essentials, Meetings That Deliver-Facilitation Skills for Leaders, and Communication Styles - Knowing Yourself and Others.

Jan holds a Masters Degree in Organizational Development from the Weatherhead School of Management, Case Western University, Cleveland, Ohio.  She and her husband live in the mountains of western North Carolina and the panhandle of Florida.
