Dedicated to helping others live the Marine Corps maxim, “Know yourself and seek self-improvement,” Kate is a retired military officer with broad experience as a speaker, teacher, facilitator, and coach. Her change leadership and coaching work are focused on helping her clients optimize their results through increased trust and psychological safety, the elimination of barriers to communication and creativity, and better understanding of how to harness the power of cognitive diversity. She uses her leadership experience and knowledge of neuroscience knowledge as powerful tools to help individuals and teams be more reflective, accountable, and able to artfully navigate change and uncertainty.
Committed to lifelong learning, Kate holds a Master of Military Science from the Marine Corps Command and Staff College. She is a graduate of Georgetown University’s prestigious Organizational Consulting and Change Leadership and Strategic Diversity and Inclusion Management programs as well as Fielding Graduate University’s Evidenced Based Coaching program. Kate holds coaching certifications through the NeuroLeadership Institute and the International Coach Federation..
