Ron Schwarz

Ron Schwarz is a 25 year IT industry veteran with more than 20 years of management experience.

Ron was a 19 year Cisco veteran where he held leadership roles in sales, sales management, and business development. He has significant experience in the Public Sector and has both strategy and execution successes in Cisco Connected JusticeTM, Economic Stimulus and Smart + Connected Communities. His teams developed solutions for governments to implement broadband and intelligent technologies that foster: workflow transformation, non- mission centric expense reduction, new employment, workforce retraining, education and healthcare, environmentally intelligent facilities and shared services.

Ron held positions in Cisco’s World Wide Sales Strategy and Planning including international leadership (Country General Managers/VPs) development, design and implementation of Go-to-Market Strategies for organizational effectiveness, and introduction of new technologies to the global sales teams. His first 10+ years were in Cisco’s US Public Sector Sales organization. His teams spanned the US and had units focused on Healthcare, Citizen Services, Agriculture, and Defense.

Prior to Cisco, Ron spent seven years with CalComp, a computer graphics company headquartered in California. He held several sales and marketing management positions with both domestic and international responsibilities. His career began at Xerox where Ron was recruited out of college and spent five years in sales and marketing management roles.

Ron is a graduate of the University of California at Davis where he earned a Bachelor’s Degree in International Relations and Economics. He speaks German and Spanish and has worked and studied in Europe.

Ron is active in several community service programs including the US Air Force Academy TAP and Cadet Sponsor Programs, Local School District Initiatives, and Children’s’ Literacy.
