Sarah Steverman, Ph.D.

Sarah Steverman has more than 10 years of expertise in behavioral health services, policy, and research. In January 2013, Sarah left her position as Director of State Policy at Mental Health America (formerly the National Mental Health Association) to complete her doctorate and provide consulting services. In her consulting work, she has provided expertise on HHS and DoD contracts related to mental health prevention financing and implementation, sexual assault prevention and response, and behavioral health and sexual assault data analysis. She has testified before state legislatures, presented at regional and national meetings, and provided technical assistance to state and federal policy makers, community leaders, the media, and the general public on various behavioral health issues.
